Alba SEO Services Serves Up Third Year of Support for Edinburgh Badminton Academy!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve just renewed our sponsorship of the Edinburgh Badminton Academy (EBA) for the third year running!

We want to help make a positive impact in the local community, and sponsoring the EBA is one way we can do this. I’m also a player at the academy and I’ve seen for myself the great work it does, so we are more than happy to support it.

Making Badminton Accessible for All

One of the EBA’s key commitments is to keep its performance squads accessible for everyone who wants to play.

But as you can imagine, it faces some big challenges in this area, such as increasing venue and shuttle costs. As such, lower-income squad members can sometimes struggle.

We share the EBA’s belief that sports should be accessible to everyone, irrespective of their financial circumstances. That’s why some of the sponsorship funds we provide will go directly towards supporting players who face financial issues, helping to reduce or even eliminate membership fees so they can participate in the activity they love.

Investing in Coaches

Coaches are the foundation of the academy, and they need to have the skills and knowledge to help them get the most out of the players. So our sponsorship will also help the EBA to invest in its coaches.

Some of our sponsorship will go directly towards the training and development of coaches via mentorship programmes, workshops and more.

Local Community Impact

The EBA is focused on expanding its reach and impact in the local community. It does this by setting up new sessions in areas with limited access to sports, helping to get more people involved in badminton.

Not only do people discover the sport this way, but it also helps more people in the area to enjoy an active lifestyle. Our consistent support helps with the academy’s long-term growth so it can continue to help the local community over the years.
